January 11th Pawanmuktasana -Joint Freeing Series
- A Firm Foundation for Yoga and Health
Pawanmuktasana, the ‘joint freeing’ or ‘anti-rheumatic’ exercises are an often overlooked foundation of physical wellness. As with basic asanas (poses), some may think this series too easy or boring. Many yoga practitioners may not even know of these because they are not commonly taught in many places. (If everybody would do this exercise, the world would likely be much more full of healthy people!)
The seriese is great for everyone. Beginner yogis will be benefited from this series to prepare joints to do more yoga poses, intermediate yogis will notice joints that have not been freed yet, and advanced yogis and Yoga teachers will simply learn something to add on their menu.

January 25th Free the Flow with Christie Delahunt
Strong, Alignment Focused, Vinyasa flow that will sweat your prayers!
Vinyasa means “breath-synchronized movement,” and Vinyasa yoga is a series of poses that will move you through the power of breath – inhaling and exhaling. Vinyasa movements are smoothly flowing and almost dance-like.
Like all styles of yoga, Vinyasa has both mental and physical benefits. Physically, sweat expels toxins and re-energizes your body. Mentally, the synchronized breathing relaxes your mind and helps to release any blockage of energy flow throughout your body.
A Vinyasa class is both a great place to start Yoga and to continue challenging yourself.
