Connect w/ Partner Yoga, June 15, 2-4pm – 30.00 for two/25.00 for one person
Denise teaches us a beginner level partner yoga practice that displays a beautiful way to deepen our human connections and interactions. Partner yoga is the embodiment of Tantra, taking us out of the individual practice and into a more connected state. It is extremely beneficial to those who practice and teach, allowing them a deeper understanding of the body, and developing greater awareness of alignment through precise adjustments. This experience awakes a deep integration with others, is self-healing, and opens us up to compassion with a therapeutic and playful approach to yoga.
Dr. Wright’s Clearing Out Technique, Thursday, June 20, 7-8:30pm - by donation – pay what you can
Dr. Wright brought this spiritual cleansing technique back with him from Burma where he was a cultural attache. The principle technique he learned and practiced is a variation on what is called the “breath of fire” in Hatha Yoga. But what Dr. Wright learned is a separate discipline in its own right because it employs a specific combination of breath and focused intentionality to spiritually cleanse the body, section by section. The rhythmic breathing clears the aura almost scientifically. Healing can take place “out of the overflow of spirit,” as Dr. Wright says. Denise Davis-Gains was taught this technique by Thomas Ashley-Ferrand who was taught by Dr. Wright. All levels, no experience required.
Labour & Birth Coaching Session for Conscious Parents – July 11, 7-8:30pm – 25.00 per couple
Conscious parenting begins long before that special day where you finally hold your precious baby in your arms. You instinctively know that there are certain actions that you must undertake in order to reassure your growing infant. In fact, you have been communicating your love for your child every time you caressed your belly in response to her flutters and kicks, each time you had your partner read the Dr. Seuss classic Oh, The Places You’ll Go into your navel and even by eating healthy foods that ensure your little one receives nutritive – rich blood through his umbilical cord. This coaching session is to bring an element of ease with the process of natural childbirth and the life cycle ritual of bringing a child into the world.
Breathing & Biofeedback Workshop for Sleep, Hyperventilation, Anxiety & Stress, Thursday, July 25, 7-9pm – 25.00 per person
The evidence is piling up in favor of spending some time not only thinking about breathing, but practicing it as well.
Paced abdominal breathing leads to lower stress levels, fewer incidents of hyperventilation and panic attacks, as well as a reduction in worrisome thoughts and sleepless nights. Not to mention better digestion, lower blood pressure, and a more capable immune system.
Research clearly supports the superiority of relaxation training with biofeedback over other techniques and those who learn to breathe with the proper feedback.

After having completed his undergraduate degree in Human Biology, Thai yoga massage provided a perspective that challenged Drew’s perception and experience. The holistic approach to health and wellness that Thai massage encompasses really resonated. Through the recognition of wellbeing as a process and lifestyle, Thai massage quickly developed from a hobby, into a passion and a livelihood.Drew feels that compassionate touch is something that western society is really craving. With Thai yoga massage in his toolkit, Drew’s goal is to bring his energy, knowledge and intention to as many people as he can, seeking to positively impact their lives. His experience when giving and receiving Thai massage is one of nurture, connectedness and restoration.
