200Hr Yoga Teacher Training Certification
Foundations in yoga teacher training. The Atlas yoga method is organized into a complete physically logical system of tapas (or exercise) that brings mental, physical and spiritual balance, strength and flexibility. Drawing from ancient yogic wisdom, modern research and science the Atlas methodology is one path to optimal health, wellbeing and personal transformation. We offer a full year fall program and a one month intensive. Occasionally other programs are offered when required. Are you ready?

1000Hr Yoga Therapy Training Certification
As a yoga therapy practitioner positioned at the forefront of this emerging field, you will be able to design a fulfilling career and develop one-on-one therapeutic relationships in a wide variety of health, wellness, and conventional medical settings. The Atlas Yoga Therapy Program is one of the first of its kind in our region. We offer a unique approach to the field by providing you with a comprehensive and highly experiential classroom experience taught by internationally experienced experts, culminating with mentored clinical case studies, experience that prepares you to build or grow your practice. This program is delivered in a hybrid format and can be completed in 6 trimesters (2 years). Prerequisite - a 200hr YTT certification, up-to-date CPR/FirstAid/AED and a passion for helping people. If your 200hr certification is not with Atlas you may have to complete bridging program(s) to begin the additional 800hrs.
500Hr Yoga Teacher Training Certification
Advanced yoga teacher training. A 2 year program that includes required courses and electives. Students are encouraged to take as many electives as they have time for. This is a great way to determine what you niche or calling will be in the world of yoga. Intake is continuous and students can register at any time. Modules can be taken independently and are offered year round. Some programming will be in person, some virtually and there are retreat options for the adventurous.
Electives & Continuing Education
Our 200hr YTT requires 20hrs per year in continuing education and teaching to remain valid - at present this is on an honour system. We provide free and reduced price continuing education for our graduates. The 500hr YTT and the 1000hr Yoga Therapy programs have electives that are required to graduate. In each program there are minimums but no maximum number of electives that you are able to register for and complete. Check out our current offerings at the link below.
Coming soon, the “atlas yoga teachers association”. 1st year membership is include with all YTT programs and will include 20hrs/year of continuing education, after the 1st year includes CPR/FirstAid/AED renewal, access to resources, curated experiences and mentoring. For most of us it starts out as a voice or a feeling, it says, “this is what I am meant to do.” This is how my body is meant to move. The voice gets louder and the conviction grows until we have to do something about it. Then we walk into the classroom, the studio or turn on the zoom call and there are our people, the lost tribe we have been searching for. We see ourselves in them and the teachers speak a language that begins to make sense of the voice and the voice quietens for a while. Then sometime later we see the look on another face and we know that they can hear the voice as well. And so it goes. Listen.
