transformation through Yoga nidra

The ancient practice of Yoga Nidra is a form of meditation based on both the ancient tantric yogic model of the Koshas (the 5 subtle bodies) and modern neuroscience. Take a deep dive into learning this unique combination of deep relaxation and alert aware meditation. Yoga Nidra is an experience that rejuvenates and renews both the physical body and the mind. It is a quiet practice of constructive rest that brings forth healing and transformation- the much needed global antidote to raw overstimulated nervous systems.

Yoga Nidra means yogic sleep. It is a state of relaxed consciousness, which is the result of a guided sequential journey inward to stillness. This deeply healing practice offers an opportunity to transform long held perceptions, beliefs, blocked energy that we rely on to make sense of our world.

We are all conditioned in the way we experience our reality by memories and narratives of the past. Within the deep state of Yoga Nidra, we can learn to re-pattern and regulate the nervous system and release and heal subconscious issues from the past, present and future, related to health, work, stress and relationships resulting in a conscious and powerful existence.

We welcome you to join the tribe of teachers changing the world's relationship with how we process the power of quiet through this gift of constructive deep rest.

Hello, I am Denise

It is one of my passions and great honour to teach, train teachers and enjoy the magic of intentional living through the creation and practice of our Atlas 100hr Yoga Nidra program. In a world of constant and often chaotic change it is a restful, deeply relaxing oasis.

I grew up in a big loud family and my professional was performative to say the least and my three children are big personalities and brilliant musicians. Finding the practice of yoga nidra and the deep rest that goes with it evolved over many years on my yoga journey. These skills have served me well through the years and I love sharing the personal tools I have cultivated through teaching and educating trainers in the practices of Yoga Nidra, somatic exploration, breath work and presence.

There is a joy in teaching people how to listen for the kind voice of their heart and the true home of their deepest authentic self. Through committed intention, guided journeys and deeply restorative rest, our students benefit profoundly. This is a practice of listening.

Active listening is a life saving gift.
